Cedarcrest has a variety of clubs and after school activities available to students. Clubs available to Cedarcrest students are listed below. If you have any questions, ask the club advisor listed next to the club. All clubs run from 2pm to 4pm unless otherwise noted below. Bolded club names require an ASB card to participate.

Writing Club is open to students in all grades who are interested in writing. We take time each meeting for socialization as well as for developing your writing. We look for writing contests to enter, share and create with each other just for fun, and follow wherever your creative ideas take us. If you have ideas for songs, stories, poems, videos, graphic novels, or anything else with words, we want you to join us.

The Cedarcrest Middle School Yearbook Club produces the school's annual yearbook. With this goal in mind, members will learn a bit about photography, writing, editing, graphic design and electronic layouts. Yearbook club also gives students the opportunity to assist in yearbook sales. Students help to promote yearbook sales by making posters and distributing yearbook information.

*Club membership is limited and requires an application process at the start of every year.

In this club we honor the accomplishments of all the different cultures and heritages represented by the student body at Cedarcrest Middle School. Our society and the character of our nation is enriched through these diverse languages, cultures, religious beliefs, customs and foods that are brought to our awareness and experiences.

Gardening Club

We gather to learn about plants and grow plants to beautify our school! We celebrate nature and individual creativity. Whether you like outdoor flowerbeds, vegetables, or a cactus on a shelf, gardening club could be for you.

Girl's Who Code Club

Girls Who Code is a national non-profit organization working to close the gender gap in technology. The Girls Who Code Club works to educate, equip, and inspire girls with the computing skills they'll need to pursue 21st century opportunities.

Yarn Club

Portable 6

The Yarn Club meets every other week on Mondays to learn ways to make things out of yarn, including crochet and knitting. No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome, just come with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
